Renowned Professor Nandini Sahu, a renowned Amazon bestselling author and academician, has taken on a new role as the Vice Chancellor of prestigious University in West Bengal on 20 December, 2024.This significant development highlights her impressive credentials and contributions to literature and the society at large.
As a triple gold medalist in English literature, Professor Sahu has received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal from the Vice-President of India as well as The Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to English Studies in India. Her academic achievements and research interests span Indian Literature, New Literatures, Indigenous Knowledge Systems,Folk Literature, Comparative World Literature and Critical Theory, among others.
With 21 books to her credit, Professor Sahu is a prolific author. Her notable works include SITA(A POEM), SHEDDING THE METAPHORS, HINDU STUDIES: FOUNDATIONS AND FRAMEWORKS, RE-READING JAYANTA MAHARASHTRA, etc. As the Former Director of the School of Foreign Languages and Professor of English at IGNOU, Professor Sahu brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
